šviečiamasis sviedinys statusas T sritis Gynyba apibrėžtis Specialusis šviečiamosios veikmės sviedinys vietovei taikinio rajone naktį apšviesti. Šviečiamasis sviedinys gali būti parašiutinis ir be parašiuto. Sviedinyje be parašiuto yra iki 24 šviečiamųjų žvaigždučių, kurios, sprogus sviediniui, lėtai krinta apšviesdamos iki 1 km² vietovės plotą per 20–30 s. Parašiutiniame šviečiamajame sviedinyje yra parašiutas ir šviečiamasis elementas. Suveikus nuotoliniam sprogdikliui, išsviedžiamas šviečiamasis elementas, išsiskleidžia parašiutas, kuris leidžiasi 2–8 m/s greičiu; apšviečia iki 1 km skersmens vietovės plotą 40–120 s. atitikmenys: angl. illuminating projectile; illuminating shell; star projectile; star shell rus. oсветительный снаряд
